Job Description
UC Health is a hiring a full-time Electronics Specialist for the UC Medical Center.
This role is to perform inspections, installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance, calibrations, modifications and additions to the electrical/mechanical systems and equipment associated with the Plant Operations & Maintenance Department as well as any and all trade related duties.

Responsibilities
- Performs electronic specialist duties to insure the safety and comfort of patients, visitors, staff, and building as well as equipment integrity. Perform work orders on but not limited to the nurse call, television, Card access systems, AV equipment, Door operators and document inspects and corrects system problems in a safe and timely manner.
- Makes routine checks of electronic equipment, checks all electronic equipment rooms. Maintains and/or operates several hospital systems such as but not limited to TV, Card reader, AV equipment, door operators Performs preventive maintenance, maintains records of maintenance and repairs, and/ or replace equipment.
- Interpret prints, manuals, diagrams, facility site drawings to determine layout, location, parts, and supplies needed to complete assigned work orders/tasks in an efficient, safe and timely manner. Responsible for maintaining stock and ordering parts.
- Accurately documents time and work performed on each task worked on.
- May be required to inspect work performed by outside vendors and contractors insuring all work meets or exceeds all federal, state, and city codes and standards.
- Assists other trade workers in performance of maintenance, renovation, and projects when needed.
- Maintains housekeeping conditions as prescribed by area.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum Required: High School diploma or GED.
- Journeyman preferred but not required.
- 2-5 years preferred but not required.
