As an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) on our Mobile Care team, you'll play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality patient transport across the Greater Cincinnati region. You'll assess, plan, and provide care for a diverse patient population, ensuring each transport meets the highest standards.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient care based on EMT scope of practice, ensuring assessments, interventions, and evaluations are appropriate and safe.

• Respond to a wide range of patient conditions with skills including CPR, airway management, bleeding control, trauma care, spine immobilization, and AED usage.

• Obtain and interpret vital signs and manage medications within the approved EMT scope.

• Act as a patient advocate, ensuring privacy, dignity, and high-quality care.

• Participate in daily operations with a focus on safety, teamwork, and clinical excellence.

• Maintain complete and accurate documentation for every patient transport.

• Remain current in all licensures, certifications, and job-specific competencies.

Qualifications

Education & Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Completion of an Emergency Medical Technician program required.

• Minimum 1 year of EMT experience required; 3+ years preferred.

• Military medical/paramedicine experience considered.

• Intra-facility transport experience preferred.

Licenses & Certifications:

• Current Ohio EMT-B certification required; National Registry preferred.

• BLS (American Heart Association) at time of hire.

• Valid, unrestricted driver's license with no more than 4 points.

• Emergency Vehicle Operator Course (EVOC) must be completed during probation.

• FEMA 100 and 200 courses required within initial probationary period.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Ability to make sound clinical and operational decisions independently.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Skilled in vehicle safety operations.

• All competencies outlined in the Ohio EMT Scope of Practice.
