GME Program Coordinator, Internal Medicine, Full Time, First Shift

Job Description

Coordinate the fellowship program in conjunction with fellowship director; maintain compliance with all ACGME accredited Fellowship Program regulations and providing full support to the Division Director.

Responsibilities

Summary: Provides necessary support to the Office of Medical Education Graduate Medical Education program in the Department of Internal Medicine as needed for day to day operation to include direct support to the program director.

Key Job Elements:

Organize, set up, and track attendance at conferences and meetings, including ordering lunches

Oversee resident duty hours tracking and reporting

Administrative support for program director

Qgenda resident scheduling

Process resident verification requests

Manage Pain Management and Geriatrics scheduling

Offboard residents and assist Program Manager with onboarding residents

Assist Program Director in scheduling and coordinating annual resident recruitment

Sort mail and faxes. Answer phones and work on special projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum Required: High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's Degree preferred.
  • LICENSE & CERTIFICATION: N/A.
  • Minimum Required: A minimum of three years program management experience preferred.
  • 0-5 years experience, preferably in a healthcare or academic environment.
  • Skills:
  • Computer, telephone, fax machine utilization skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Med-hub and Qgenda experience preferred.
