The Patient Accounting Representative is responsible for reading contracts and interpreting how claims are paid. Identify and review underpayments and file appeals and follow up to obtain full expected reimbursement.

The Patient Accounting Representative is responsible for reading contracts and interpreting how claims are paid. Identify and review underpayments and file appeals and follow up to obtain full expected reimbursement.
Collection will be accomplished by conventional phone system, letters, and other correspondence to collect underpayments to obtain full expected amount due.
Revenue Cycle Performance
Productivity 250 per week
Quality Reviews Weekly
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Required: High School Diploma or GED. Preferred: Associate's Degree. | LICENSE & CERTIFICATION: N/A. | Minimum Required: 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in Revenue Cycle and/or Epic Revenue Cycle applications.
Contract knowledge and interpretation is required.
